Rebecca trained as a ballerina for 10 years with the Royal Ballet School and Elmhurst School for Dance.
Throughout her ballet training Pilates was a part of her daily routine. Due to injury she was unable to carry on with her ballet career. Wanting to help more people discover the amazing benefits of Pilates lead her to train as a level 3 pilates instructor with Body Control Pilates.
Pilates involves a series of low impact exercises, created by Joseph Pilates. Designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, balance and posture. Body awareness is heightened by focusing on connecting the mind and body together.
Pilates also helps with spine articulation and is a great discipline for rehabilitation and pain prevention.
